Who We Are
Our Story
Birth by God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, Empowering Ourselves in the Lord Ministry was founded on December 18, 2020, in East Baton Rouge, LA, by Pastor Trevor Paul.
The Father spoke to Pastor Trevor to start His ministry at Trevor’s home.
This vision was to begin a ministry to empower faith believers and help those who have not found Christ yet.
We gathered our group of worshippers together in the name of Jesus and developed roles led by the Holy Spirit.
Before December 18, 2020, Trevor and his mom Sheila began a home-based Christian study and communion service due to the pandemic. Empowering Ourselves in the Lord Ministry was born through many prayers and seeking God!
Our church motto is to “EMPOWER!” Because everyone has a ministry within them.
Allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you with your testimony. You never know whom you might bless through your experience.
The Church has a virtual platform via Zoom and phone conference for followers. We give to local community food banks and partner with other ministries to spread the love of Christ.
The Lord has done great things for us. Even with trials and tribulations, we worship and adore Him; we kneel before Him.
Psalm 100:4-5 Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving and His court with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For God is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endureth to all generations. Amen.
May God continue to bless and strengthen you through His word. In the words of our pastor, “Always remember to Empower someone!”
